Chenega Named 2021 Top Ten Military Friendly Employer!

We are excited to announce that Chenega Corporation is a 2021 Top Ten Military Friendly Employer!

Since our founding in 2005, Chenega MIOS has been dedicated to the military community. Whether it’s providing mission-critical services to the different branches, raising money for Military and veteran-focused charities, or making it a point to hire our veterans. We are dedicated to the military community.

Our success in becoming a Top Ten Military Employer comes down to our outreach and military-friendly policies. We know transitioning to civilian work can be difficult. So, we reach out to veterans and military personnel who will soon transition through special job fairs and military-specific publications. We also host several events that support Veteran charities. We created policies to support our National Guard & Reserves members by offsetting lost wages during annual training.

Chenega Corporation is the ideal stepping stone for a smooth military-to-civilian transition. We are proud that more than 23% of Chenega’s 5,244 employees are veterans. Many veterans come to work for Chenega because we work so closely with the Military. Our work and positions are often compatible with the skills our veterans acquired while serving our Nation. This makes the transition into a new job easier to manage. Our type of work allows veterans to continue their calling of serving the United States. This symbiotic relationship is what makes Chenega MIOS and our Military, Relentlessly Ready.

About Military Friendly® Employers:
The Military Friendly® Employers list is created each year based on extensive research using public data sources and responses to the proprietary, data-driven Military Friendly Employers, Spouse, Supplier Diversity and Brands survey from all participating companies. The survey questions, methodology, criteria, and weighting were developed with an independent research firm’s assistance and an advisory council of employers. Ernst & Young, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, independently evaluated the scoring methodology for the Military Friendly Employers list using the criteria set forth by VIQTORY. The services performed by EY are limited to advisory procedures and do not provide assurance over the scoring methodology.

NJVC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chenega Corporation and is part of the Chenega MIOS Strategic Business Unit.
