Jackson, vice president and general manager, cloud services, will speak on “Using the Cloud for Geospatial Interoperability” during the Public Sector Cloud Summit, March 19 – 20 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Va.

Jackson, also chairman of the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC) Working Group on Cloud Computing will discuss the NCOIC Geospatial Task Team demonstration, a project designed to explore the use of cloud computing technologies for geospatial interoperability. This international collaboration focuses on the use of the platform-as-a-service cloud computing layer.

The Public Sector Cloud Summit will feature international public sector cloud leaders to exchange information about current projects, future plans, and prioritized requirements.
