GEOINT 2016: Government Demos GEOINT App Store in NJVC Booth
CHANTILLY, Va., May 11, 2016 - NJVC, an enterprise IT provider helping Defense and Intelligence agencies thrive in the era of the cloud, announced it will host Government-led demonstrations of the GEOINT App Store (GAS) in its booth during the GEOINT 2016 Symposium, May 15-18 in Orlando, Florida.
The GEOINT App Store team will demonstrate the product's capabilities in NJVC’s booth, #529. The GEOINT App Store is an online platform that provides GEOINT-focused apps, widgets and web services for use by a wide range of federal, state and local government officials.
“We're excited and honored to host the demonstration in our booth," NJVC Software Services Practice Lead Bill Cloin said. "The GEOINT App Store is an important part of the effort to put the power of GEOINT in the hands of end users and helps many agencies accomplish critical GEOINT missions."
The GEOINT App Store, which launched in 2013, hosts hundreds of GEOINT apps distributed across multiple classification levels. It gives users quick access to approved applications. Its curation ability allows the best rated apps to surface to the top, similar to commercial app stores.
Demonstrations will be held during exhibit hall hours Monday to Wednesday. For updates and schedules, please follow @NJVC on Twitter.
