Jeff Bongianino, Vice President, Business Development

As vice president, business development, Robert Jeffrey “Jeff” Bongianino is responsible for all aspects of the business development and sales activities of the company, including developing strategic partnerships with key industry players, growing service offerings, creating and executing business strategies, and new business capture. Mr. Bongianino joined NJVC in 2011. Previously, he served as general manager, IT services, managing an annual revenue exceeding $350 million. He was responsible for developing a compelling and competitive information technology services offering strategy for the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense (DoD), federal civilian agencies and commercial markets.

Mr. Bongianino possesses more than two decades of experience in the national security and defense industry in the areas of IT services, software development and worldwide operations support. He spent 25 years with BAE Systems in a variety of positions with increasing leadership responsibilities. Most recently, Mr. Bongianino was General Manager, Defense Enterprise Services, overseeing a more than $100-million portfolio of IT services contracts for DoD agencies, United States Combatant Commands and military services.

Earlier, Mr. Bongianino was Deputy General Manager, GEOINT Systems Program Area, accountable for sales exceeding $300 million a year. His primary area of responsibility was coordinating new business capture activities with Business Development and the GEOINT Systems leadership team. Mr. Bongianino also served as the focal point between GEOINT Systems and other industry partners on National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency programs and pursuits. Mr. Bongianino previously held a variety of positions such as: Director Business Development, Portfolio Director, Program Manager, and Engineering Supervisor.

Mr. Bongianino earned his undergraduate degree in Information Systems from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, attended Hartford Graduate Center (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), and has completed numerous executive level leadership development programs.
